HTML <cite> Element
The <cite> element is used to define either a citation or reference to other sources in a document - can be the title of a work discussed in the Web page, the
name of the author of a work etc.
Example code:
<p>Often regarded as his greatest work, the William Wordsworth poem <cite>Daffodils</cite>
was written in 1804.</p>
Resulting text:
Often regarded as his greatest work, the William Wordsworth poem Daffodils was written in 1804.
As you can see the cited text is rendered in italics in most browsers.
